TestFeed is a Shopify app that tests products, packaging, pricing, claims, images, promotions and ads on 200 simulated shoppers before a merchant spends money. The simulated shoppers start from real shopper data and are shaped by the store's aggregate purchase patterns, such as repeat purchase rates, spend bands, product interests and location. No personal customer data is used.
A merchant picks a product from the catalog, writes an alternative version, chooses an audience and receives a likely buyer share, a plain-English decision summary and every shopper's full written answer. Ties are reported as ties, and the winning version can be applied with one click. Shoppers answer in their own words instead of using rating scales, and responses are scored with Semantic Similarity Rating, a method published by PyMC Labs. Guardrails block questions the system cannot answer honestly, and results are labeled directional.
TestFeed uses read-only Shopify access, adds no pixel or storefront code, and is launching soon on the Shopify App Store. An Enterprise tier adds real-human panel calibration.
