About StackScout
StackScout is a server monitoring and incident management service for teams that want visibility into their infrastructure without dedicated site reliability staff. It tracks CPU, memory, disk and network load, along with downtime periods. Users can view all their servers and devices at a glance or drill into real-time resource usage charts for an individual node.
Setup centers on a monitoring agent that StackScout can install automatically, or that users can install directly on their servers. Alert policies define the conditions that trigger notifications. Alerts can go to email or phone, or feed into workflows through webhooks, Slack or Pingdom. When an incident opens, StackScout shows a timeline of events and charts of the related metrics. Tags group nodes logically, and Health Insights builds charts and data tables that show infrastructure status in different ways.
The company says it is trusted by freelancers and small and medium-sized businesses. Plans scale by the number of monitored servers and the length of data retention.
