Sherlock

Sherlock AI is an interview proctoring agent for remote video interviews. It flags AI copilots, deepfakes and proxy candidates in real time, and works with Zoom, Google Meet and Teams. An API is also offered for teams that want to build detection into their own systems.

Interviewers connect a Google, Apple or Outlook calendar and switch Sherlock on for meetings that are job interviews. Sherlock then generates secure meeting links, updates calendar invites and sends real-time alerts during the interview when it sees suspicious activity. Detection uses a multimodal machine learning model that combines device activity, audio environment and candidate behavior signals. The company reports that regular retraining raised detection accuracy from about 85% to over 97%.

Beyond fraud detection, Sherlock can observe and score how well candidates use AI tools when a company permits AI during problem-solving. It also takes interview notes automatically and offers insights on candidate performance and interviewer effectiveness. The product is aimed at hiring teams running remote interviews, and the company also positions it for other high-stakes video calls such as financial discussions and board meetings.
