About Repstack
RepStack is an iPhone gym workout tracker that logs sets, reads recent sessions and turns that history into exact targets for the next workout. Its progression engine uses double progression: it adds reps within a target range, increases weight once all sets hit the top of the range, and suggests deloads when performance stalls or a set is rated too hard.
The app runs offline-first with SQLite on the device and requires no account, with optional iCloud sync. It includes a library of 873 exercise guides with muscles, equipment and images, a 0-999 Strength Score covering bench, squat, deadlift, overhead press and row, and built-in programs such as PPL, Upper Lower and full body. Lifters can paste a coach's program, upload a spreadsheet or import CSV history from Strong and Hevy.
The website also offers free web tools, including 1RM, progressive overload, plate, strength standards and TDEE calculators plus an exercise alternatives finder. RepStack is aimed at lifters who want clear next-set targets without manual spreadsheet math.
