Moontower is a volatility intelligence platform for options traders, desks and firms. It computes its own implied volatility surfaces across strikes and expiries, derives downstream metrics such as skew, term structure, variance risk premium and earnings IV history, and presents them in a set of opinionated proprietary charts. Higher tiers add dealer positioning data (GEX, vanna, charm), a funding suite, VIX complex and correlation tools.
The Moontower Agent answers natural-language questions, such as whether a stock's volatility is cheap into earnings or how to price a zero-cost collar, by pulling market data and giving answers with sentence-level citations. The company states the agent is never trained on user prompts or documents. Guided workflows cover income strategies (covered calls and cash-secured puts), defensive positions and collars, and API and MCP access is available.
