About Split Forms
Split Forms (splitforms) is a hosted form backend. Developers point any HTML, React, Next.js, WordPress or AI-built form at a single POST endpoint with a hidden access key, and each submission is spam-filtered, saved to a dashboard and emailed to the owner, with no server, PHP or SMTP to run. The endpoint accepts URL-encoded, multipart and JSON bodies, and works with static sites and builders such as Webflow, Framer and Carrd.
Spam filtering is rule-based on every plan, using honeypots, time-traps, per-IP rate limits and content scoring, with a reviewable spam folder and no CAPTCHA required. Paid plans add signed webhooks, file uploads, CC/BCC and auto-replies, Stripe payments on forms, and integrations with Slack, Discord, Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Zapier, Make and n8n. An MCP server lets AI agents such as ChatGPT or Claude create forms and return ready-to-paste markup.
The Free plan suits side projects and indie developers, while Pro and Annual plans target agencies and growing products. The service also offers 60+ free HTML form templates and a public status page.

Split Forms FAQ
- What happens after the 500 free submissions are used?
- New submissions are refused with an HTTP 429 response until upgrading, since the free allowance does not refill monthly. Existing submissions remain in the dashboard.
- Does it require a CAPTCHA?
- No. Spam is filtered server-side with honeypots, timing traps, rate limits and content scoring, though reCAPTCHA or Turnstile can be enabled optionally.
- Can submissions be sent to Slack or Google Sheets?
- Yes, on paid plans submissions can go to Slack, Discord, Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Zapier and signed webhooks.
- Does it work with WordPress or Webflow?
- Yes. Set the form action to the splitforms endpoint with the access key; WordPress also has an official splitforms plugin.
