Shotomatic
About Shotomatic
Shotomatic is a Mac app that automates screenshots. Users set a capture interval once and the app grabs the entire screen, a specific window, or a custom area without further input. A keypress automation option can simulate a keystroke between shots, which supports workflows such as paging through e-books, webcomics, or manga and archiving each page.
The app has several capture modes. Auto Capture saves work sessions and page sequences locally as images, PDF, ZIP, or MP4. Action Capture turns each accepted click into an ordered step that can be edited with instructions and visual cues, then exported as a guide. Website capture takes a list of URLs, with per-URL settings for viewport, timing, cookies, format, and quality, and exports the batch. Screenshot sessions can also be turned into timelapse MP4 videos.
Shotomatic is aimed at people producing tutorials, QA evidence, website audits and reports, visual archives, and progress documentation. The download is listed for Apple Silicon, and the site also offers a browser extension and a set of free online image and PDF tools.
