MentionOS

MentionOS is an autonomous AEO (answer engine optimization) agent focused on getting brands named in AI-generated answers. It monitors how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI respond to shopper questions, with Claude available as an add-on. Users set it up by adding their site and any other brand information, after which it scans the models daily.

Each day it produces a short plain-language read covering what changed in visibility, why, and a recommended action. It tracks competitors mentioned by the models, compares citations between scans to identify sources that moved an answer, and reports metrics such as visibility, rank, share of voice, sentiment, funnel-stage mention rates and cited content types.

The agent also drafts content, such as guides with bylines, schema markup and internal links, intended to be cited by AI models. By default every piece waits for approval; an optional autopilot mode writes, schedules and publishes to the brand's own blog on Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Webflow, BigCommerce or a native blog, and never posts elsewhere. Its examples center on consumer brands such as e-commerce skincare.
