MarsX is a development platform that combines no-code, code and reusable micro-apps for building web and mobile applications. Projects start from micro-apps built by third-party developers, such as marketplaces, social networks, video streaming portals, photo-sharing apps and no-code builders, and the site lists more than 1000 of them. Each micro-app bundles database, backend, frontend (web, iOS, Android), admin pages, CMS and analytics.
Work can begin in the no-code interface as long as it stays within the scope of existing micro-apps. For custom logic, users switch to the code interface, a web-based IDE with JavaScript, optional TypeScript and Git version control, without losing existing data or logic. The Mars engine is open source under the Apache 2.0 license and can run on a user's own servers, a local machine or Mars cloud hosting.
The platform targets startups, dev shops, freelancers, accelerators and venture studios. Access is currently handled through a waitlist, and a marketplace connects projects with Mars developers.
