About Kiqo
Kiqo is a browser-based, AI-powered learning platform for K–5 students. Children ask questions and receive age-appropriate explanations, then continue through a chat-like conversation by choosing from three follow-up prompts or typing their own. Rather than quizzing, it guides learning with follow-up questions and adjusts content based on what holds a child's attention and where they struggle.
Students use one of two modes: Classroom Mode, aligned with educator-led lessons, and Freestyle Mode, which follows the child's own interests. Adults choose from twelve learning levels that set how much information a child receives; students never see their level. Ready-made lessons are updated weekly, and adults can upload their own material.
Parents and educators get a dashboard showing topics, time, engagement and progress, plus automatically generated learning summaries and live safety monitoring that flags inappropriate interactions. Children do not interact with the open internet or external AI systems, and the company states it is COPPA and FERPA aligned. The platform is aimed at families, homeschoolers, tutors, classrooms and microschools.
