About ImgToLayers
ImgToLayers is an AI tool that splits a flat JPG, PNG or WebP image into separate editable layers. It identifies subjects, backgrounds, text, shadows, props and details, then packages them as a layered PSD for Photoshop or as aligned transparent PNG or WebP files, individually or in a grouped ZIP for Figma.
The workflow has four steps: sign in and upload an image, choose a layer count (4, 5, 8 or 10 layers), review the detected layers against the original, and export. The PSD is assembled in the browser from the generated layers. Each job consumes credits based on layer count, and all export formats are included without an extra download charge. The live workflow uses the fal-ai/qwen-image-layered model.
The tool is aimed at designers, content studios, brand teams, marketplace sellers and creators working with product photos, logos, posters, UI screenshots, fashion images and AI art. The site states that uploaded images are not used to train a model, while deletion and retention controls are still being built.
