Guidemaker is an AI tool that records a user's actions while they work and turns them into step-by-step how-to guides, SOPs, tutorials and training documentation. Capture runs through Chrome and Edge browser extensions, with Mac and Windows desktop apps available in beta. From a single recording, Guidemaker generates three versions of a guide: web, video and slides.
After capture, AI writes the guide text, which can then be edited. Guides can be shared through a unique link, viewed as a slideshow or video, or embedded in knowledge bases, wikis and websites. Paid plans add screenshot annotation, custom branding, team and private workspaces, and export to PDF, HTML, markdown and video.
Guidemaker is made by AGC Labs, LLC. It is used by teams documenting internal processes, onboarding new hires and creating guides for clients. Plans range from a free Basic tier to Plus, Team and Enterprise options, with the higher tiers adding view-only users, dedicated customer success and invoice billing.
