About Design Details

Design Details is a curated reference library of real website designs. Each site is hand-picked by an editor, captured from the live web at desktop and mobile sizes, and broken into cropped sections such as heroes, features, CTAs, FAQs, editorial blocks and footers. Entries include motion recordings and notes on typography, colours, platform and components.

The library can be searched and browsed by industry, including AI, finance, health, retail, developer tools, real estate and others, or by section type. For any website or section, a DESIGN.md file can be downloaded: a short Markdown brief listing typography, colours, components and layout notes that can be shared with a team or read by AI coding tools as a design reference.

New sites are added daily, and a Weekly Picks email collects the best of each week. Designers can also submit sites, which are reviewed before being captured and published. The library suits designers and teams who want to compare how real products handle the same design problem.
